Britton Empire was abandoned by the Ancient Gods and Goddesses, so it said. Truth was, it wasn't entirely true.
Formed a few decades ago by an accidental summoning, the Empress' Hounds took care of supernatural disturbance all around the Empire. And they took care of any potential threat to the throne too. Nevertheless, ruling an empire took more than good political moves and loyal allies.
It started off as a "fanfic of fanfic", in which the author put two characters made for a fanfic in a totally different setting back in 2017. With weird turn of events, the setting got more and more detailed and ended up being merged with a previous work from 2011.
